hello everyone, my family and i are looking to re-locate somewhere nice in northern California.. We have 2 small children both under the age of 4.. We are relocating for the sole purpose of cheaper living. We currently live in LA.. and rent is just sky high.. My husband works for the Court house in Orange County.. and he would like to continue with the courts to where ever we shall move to.. I would like to be able to stay at home with our children.. so rent will have to be maybe under 1,000.. we want some where nice, and safe.. and as close to shopping centers as we can...( we are from LA lol ). any ideas???

You're not going to find anything decent in a school district that's OK - inside the City of Sacramento - for much less than < $1200 in rent - but I've seen houses that go for less.

Outside the city, you might find a rental house for around that price, but its going to be difficult.

Ok seriously, where do you people think you are? Every week theres a post in here asking for rent under $1000 in a nice/safe area.

You people should seriously just consider moving out of california.

The only place you're going to find rent under $1000 is Stockton and that whole city is a garbage dump full of crack addicts and hookers.
