Hello Everyone,

We are looking for a good doggie day care and boarding facility, and would appreciate your input on the best.

Thanks for your help.

I don't use day care so can't help you there. Although I usually use a vet tech for pet sitting, I have had to board my dogs at times. Dr. Denker's hospital on State S. about 2300 South was recommended to me and I was happy with their services.

Our two dogs are regulars at Desert Dog. It's a great place with great people and very affordable. They're on 900W just south of 1700S. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Moderator cut: sorry, too new to post links, see TOS

Dog Mode is also great, but a little pricier. They're at 4030S 210W.

Another place that you'll hear of is Camp Barkalot. From our experiences there, I wouldn't recommend them.

Good luck.

We use Old Farm Pet Resort on 200E and 3900S. We have 4 dogs, one who is special needs, and they take GREAT care of them! We have used them for boarding and daycare. The think I liked the most is they had large play areas for the dogs. Many of the others we looked at did not. Also it was most affordable for us with 4 dogs.

Sorry... I was perplexed on why, knowing I had made a response to this post, thinking that "hey the internet is a fickle beast", Ill make the recommend again. But I deleted it once I saw what happened to the first one.

::shrug::

If I can't make a recommend (which someone recommended after me anyway) I would suggest taking the time to look into reviews and finding the best place your pups.

I would not recommend a vet though as in most cases (not all) they are caged or kenneled most of the time with only time out to relieve themselves.
