"Oh, I never had Ethiopian food until very recently...there is a restaurant...I'm not sure exactly where it is, or what it is called!! But it is on Redwood Road, maybe 10 miles S of the highway. It is located on the W side of the road upstairs from an African market. We went there because we are adopting from Ethiopia."

Can you be more specific about where this Ethiopian place this? We love Ethiopian food but have not had any since we moved to SLC in early 2006. Thanks!

Good and somewhat inexpensive French food is hard to find here. Bring a crepe maker if you can. And New York Pizza.

How about a good cheesesteak and hoagie...mmmmmm. You can only get that in the Northeast. Oh yeah, can't forget a Rita's water ice or Gelati.

I can tell you that Robintino's in Bountiful has some great sausage pizza.

Hmmm I tried googling this place, and only found one link to it. It is called African Market & Restaurant on Redwood Road. According to the site it is an Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant. I too am curious what it is like. I do prefer Ethiopian to Eritrian food, but could have just been the Eritrean place I went to in DC.. it was good food, but I just preferred the Ethiopean places better.
OMG, am am now craving some of the Shrimp Watt and lentils and that yummy potato salad and the Tibbs.... drool, drool, drool. And I love the Injera. I won't be going home for awhile, so I may have to check this place out.

To DC, that could very well be it. It was about a mile or two N of kinkos, which i think is on redwood and ....one of the Temples! Sorry, I am not very familiar with that part of town.

We enjoyed it, though we are not dying to go back... It was our first experience with Ethiopian food. We had a big mixed platter and lots of injera.

There is a Kosher deli on 1100 East, about 2000 S. Or at least, it was still open a few months ago. I saw an article in the paper when it opened, I think it was a rabbi and his wife who owned it.
