My place of work is in South Jordan, around W 10600 E. Anyway, I want to be within a 20 minute or less commute from this location. I'll most likely be taking 15 or 89. Where would I want to be to get a reverse commute on those highways? Would living in Salt Lake City proper and driving to South Jordan in the mornings be a reverse commute? Which direction does most of the heavy traffic head in the morning and afternoon?

thanks.

W 10600 E is an impossible address in the Salt Lake Valley, so I'll assume you mean 10600 S.

If you take either I-15 or State Street (US 89), then living in downtown Salt Lake City and commuting to SJ would be a reverse commute. Heavy traffic flows into the city from all directions in the morning and out of the city in the afternoon. So for points south of SLC (like SJ) you'll want to drive south in the morning to be opposite traffic and north in the afternoon.

Why commute at all? Riverton/Herriman/South Jordan isn't a bad place to live...
