I'm moving to the Salt Lake area this week (April 10 arrival) and need to start work immediately.

I have more than 20 years' experience working in offices as an editor and writer. Those jobs are hard to come by, so I'll need to do something near-term while I hunt a good career opportunity.

In searching the Web I find a lot of temp agencies whose presence in SLC isn't clear. Some promise a world of opportunities, and then I discover they really don't have them.

Can any of you recommend which agency or agencies is the go-to company in the area?

Ksltv.com is the best local source. Don't know any agencies, sorry

Maybe this helps but when we moved here, I had a job, and my wife signed up with SOS and Account Temps.
Both of them came up with jobs really quick.
However, this was umpteen years ago ...

Looks like SOS is owned by Elwood Staffing now, and Accountemps by Robert Half.

I'll check 'em out.
