I really think people need to understand that there is more than one "Utah." What is being said here does not apply to Park City (which is in Utah). I don't think it applies to the Avenues/Foothill/Sugarhouse area of SLC (which last I checked is Utah).
People should do their homework before moving to UT and understand that there is a difference between "metro mormons" and other mormons. That there is greater religious diversity in some places (above) than others.

To echo frogandtoad, my block in Sugar House has a lesbian couple, a lesbian single, a gay man, a bunch of single mothers (some LDS, some not), and some older folks, both single/married, LDS/not. That's pretty good diversity to me!
