where's a great place to snowboard for a beginner?

i don't know too much about it myself, as i'm just beginning. my first few times down a slope on a snowboard were at the avenues park in slc. my only ski resort experience with snowboarding was at sundance. that was cool, though i've not experienced the other resorts enough to know where it ranks compared to the rest. where are you living? that might give people a good idea of what's close to you, unless travelling is not an issue.

From what I've heard, Brighton is good for beginners. The Canyons also has a lot of gentle terrain (as well as expert and everything else - it is HUGE.

I just got back from a trip there, it was GREAT! then again, i am not a beginner. But I went to the Canyons, Park City, and Snowbird. Definitely don't go to snowbird if you're a beginner, although it is great. Park City has some easy stuff and Canyons will give you about anything due to how big it is
