We moved in South Jordan from Dallas a few weeks ago. Is there an affordable oil change around here? We don't want to spend ridiculous expensive oil change. For example, Big O Tire charges a whopping $37 for an oil change. We're looking something in the range $15-$25 for a standard oil change.

Oil change in Dallas is typically affordable like in the range $15-$25 for a basic oil change.

Thanks!

I wonder what they're putting in your engine. You can't go to an auto store and get decent quality oil and a filter for that kind of money.

No it wasn't, but it should be your question. Good luck.

15 - 25 dollars is really on the low end for an average oil change throughout the USA.
This is for conventional oil. Go synthetic, and the cost can go up as high as 55 bucks.

Jiffylube presently has a discount coupon for 15 bucks off the regular price. I have no idea how much they usually charge but it sure is not 25 bucks with a 15 bucks discount.

If the OP is looking for a 15 - 25 bucks oil change, it will take a search thru KSL or Craigs List ... Neither one would I trust!

I do my own and buy the Mobil one 5 quart on sale for a bit less than 25 dollars!
This happens maybe twice a year, so I can afford that cost ...!

The engine requires a 6000 mile interval but I check the oil and it is still good around 8000 miles. (2003 Accord with 130K miles, no oil loss between changes!)

PEP Boys will do a conventional oil change for 25 bucks ...

Jiffy Lube occasionally has a deal where you prepay for 4 oils changes for $100.

The Jiffy Lube right by my house was just advertising $24.99 for an oil change.

Why don't you just go to Walmart and get their cheap oil change for $19.99?

If you want cheaper, go to a predatory oil change place. I think the cheapest is Precision Tune which charges $14.95, but as is with all predatory oil changes, they'll give you a "free inspection" prior to changing your oil where they'll come out with a huge laundry list of items you don't actually need in an effort to recover some of the losses they incur while performing their low priced oil change.

Jiffy Lube is also a predatory oil change, but they only know how to do change random filters, so the bogus upsells don't have as high of a sticker shock as Precision tune.
