Do you have any recommendations on what are good areas to live in near South Jordan where my school will be. I am not LDS. I will be attending school for one year. Is there a good resource to find rentals?

Posting this from trax now it’s a very reliable light rail system here. Many rental options along the entire line. Not sure about “schools” in SJ so that may not be helpful.

Ksl is a good resource for rental options.

I mean Daybreak is the hot community down there right now and it’s right off of the train. There is a lot of new people from out of state moving there and may be something that you would be interested in.

I would say daybreak as a mix of people there, have trax into city and also bars/restaurants plus quite a mix of not only people but age ranges. Where/What is your school ? Probably one of only places that has Trax in South Jordan. Otherwise Front runner side but not much around there tbh

What kind of living environment are you looking for?

South Jordan is diverse. I love South Jordan, but I hate Daybreak because I like single family homes with privacy (no shared spaces). Daybreak and privacy don't have a great relationship with each other since most of the homes are touching or so close to other homes that they may as well be touching, some share driveways, some share walls, some share yards, etc. . It would seem that my preference is the minority because tightly grouped housing is much more sought after these days.

If you specified your preference, it would be easier to narrow down an area.

I love Daybreak, you can pick what you want, small lots, large lots, condos, apartments, etc. Personally I like not having a lot of upkeep and having the HOA take care of the outside.

I also like close access to Trax, all of the events, especially the summer concerts.
