Ok. I am now in the countdown stage of moving. Only 21 days left til moving day. I have gathered alot of information on Draper. Have gotten alot of comments. I am actually excited about this move. I am still looking into things to do in Draper or the surrounding areas. You know like festivals and events. My girls are looking forward to the move as well. Does the school system require uniforms? New Orleans does for private as well as public schools. Thanks to everyone who shared their views and opinions. It has made this less stressful to me. So I'll touch base again once we move and how it goes.

Uniforms have been discussed by some school districts, but none to my knowledge require them. You should be arriving right in time for the 24th of July activities. Please do stay in touch.

Oh yeah, everything in the state stops on July 24 for Pioneer Day celebration. Huge parade crowds downtown, some people line up/get their spot the night before!.

If you are on the Canyons School District side of Draper, uniforms are not required.

I believe all the public schools here (with the exception of Charter Schools) do not require uniforms. I hope you have a smooth move. Being excited about moving some place is half the battle of adjusting to your new digs!

BTW-your username is quite similar to my license plates!

I don't know if someone has shared this info in another thread or not, but consider going over the point of the mountain (south) into Utah county and see what Thanksgiving Point has to offer as far as activities and things to see/do. Here's a link to directions and a map.

Most likely it's less than 20 minutes from Draper to Lehi.
