I seldom go to malls anymore, but I guess Ingram Park Mall has most of the stores I shop. Rolling Oaks is nice because it's not crowded, but it's too far from where I live.

La Cantera. I don't really shop there much, but I think it is well designed and constructed.

It is really San Antonio's 90210...

Cheers! M2

the best Mall is the Internet. The prices, selection, and convenience can't be beat.

I'm not really much of a mall shopper. Like Jwebtx, I buy most of my stuff online (if I can to avoid trips all over town) and I wait for things to go on sale online (usually) and every once awhile I'll find a deal at a brick & mortar (that is worth purchasing) like I found yesterday.

Yesterday, I bought a $34.99 Brother labeler on sale for $14.99 at Office Depot. I would have never bought if it wasn't on sale but the deal was good and I needed it so I stopped by there.

Still, there are times when I forget about finding a deal and just buy something that I want. I bought these ultra cool awesome designer knock-off sunglasses at Northstar for $15 plus $10 for the carrying case. It totalled $27; that was one time when I decided to get something for me regardless of price.

When I do go to the mall, I usually prefer NorthStar. I don't really buy stuff though, I just go to shoot the breeze, kill some time and just check out everything. And of course stop by Sephora and put on some free Acqua di Gio cologne so I can smell good while I'm walking around.

I know the argument will soon ensue..which is better the indoor/outdoor mall? Especially now because it is hot a lot of people will say that La Cantera is a pain because it's all outdoors and they prefer indoor malls. It's just a preference, I guess.

When it's cooler I love wandering around La Cantera/ The Rim. When it's warmer I will still go but I go with a misson, I know what stores I am going to before hand. If I want to wandder and don't know what I want but want to shop when it is warm out I go to North Star.

Malls are enclosed. Those outdoor centers technically aren't malls. Whether they provide the shopping experience the OP is looking for is up to the OP.

The biggest SA mall, by far, is North Star.
