I recommend Los Barrios. We have never received anything but good food there and the prices or reasonable. Jacala's is very good also.

They are located on Blanco. They have another location also, but we have never gone to it.

We liked it, but it was not worth what we payed.
Very overpriced. We love Mexican food, so please keep the suggestions coming.
So far we like Pappasitos and Paloma Blanca the best.
We will try any place, nice and whole in the wall.
Thank you for all the recommendations!
El Jarro is best at lunch (they have a wonderful and reasonably priced buffet)

We tried Aldacos last night. (I told you we like to eat out a lot, LOL)
I just had a couple of chalupa's, because I had been craving them. They were pretty good, tasted like my mom's, which are great!
My husband had a chile relleno, he liked it, but it didn't fill him up. He was still hungry after wards. We went to the one at Sunset station. It was a nice atmosphere, but there were only about 4 tables at 7:00. I found that to be odd. I was expecting it to be crowded.
But, overall it was good. I guess we have been trying more Mexican cuisine, and I like more tex-mex.
I'm looking for some good ol' cheese enchiladas and chicken tacos that cost $7.00 any suggestions?

Yeah that location always seems to be dead except maybe on the weekends. Its really good though, at least the main dishes are. Not a big fan of the sides. My husband loves the cheese enchiladas from there and I am a big fan of the guacamole margarita!

Looking for a nice family owned Breakfast/LunchMexican restaurant...try Apetito's off Marbach and Meadow Way on the S.W. side of town. Very clean, good food and excellent service.
