Falling Waters is being built on the west side of SH 211 across from Briggs. Homes will range from $170 - 400K in the "Northern Section." The "Southern Section" will be a bit more exclusive but this is a phase two location. Falling Waters is in a heavily treed areas with hills and knolls like Briggs so there will be plenty of good views. It's part of a plan involving Cumberland and Kerby Development (which did the Dominion) and was a buy out of the old Felder Ranch Tract. This one plans a new 9 hole golf course and access to the Lee Trevino 18 hole course at Briggs Ranch. There will be c. 1000 lots in the North and South (total ~2000 lots).

As you know there is a 1 million sq foot commercial center just a 1/4 mile up the road at Redbird/Stevens Ranch. Homes across the street at Briggs are up to the $7,000,000 range.

Anybody know anything else about this?

Here are a couple links to get you started:

The northern section looks to be just inside the NISD...you can see some roads being cleared in the map at the bottom of your link, and it shows it just north of the blue line which is the NISD boundary line.

The southern section looks to be below the line and in the Medina Valley ISD.

So Falling waters is still on track. It really is looking like something a bit different than we've seen in this price range (mid-range priced homes with lakes, a golf course and a dominion feel). Medina school district and all ( most of FW just miss out on the NISD), it's still worth looking into.

One of my links above have become outdated. Here's the new link with the updated information as promised:

And here's a tidbit about Briggs Ranch. Looks like there will be more affordable homes in there too, coming soon. (Hotel, Resort, Theater, Shopping Center). Exclusive stuff. Something to think about.

AFDoc,

Looking at your link, it shows SH151 joining the proposed SH211 extension. Do you know if the extended SH151 will use the existing roadway through Alamo Ranch or build an elevated roadway through the same area?

Sorry 'bout that Insomniac, my friend. I think this is my second inadvertent plagerism. I wish I knew about the 151 though. Still haven't heard anything and none of the realtors around here seem to know much (usually I'm a bit more informed than they are, unfortunately).
