I have a friend who needs 10 to 15 miles of riding trails; she's moving from CA, where she has 50-75 miles of trails available near her home. Once in SA she'll be working near downtown. Where are the trails she's looking for? Government Canyon doesn't have any open trails yet for horses. Any other parks? Other suggestions?

It's 40miles or so outside of San Antonio, near Bandera but there are always a lot of horses out at Hill Country State Natural Area when I am out there. TPWD: Hill Country State Natural Area

Thanks for the info above.

Another one is diamond C Stables north of Helotes. I have taken lessons there, but have yet to do the trail rides.

Would anyone like a riding partner? I love to ride but don't own a horse! I wish I could work out an arrangement that didn't require going to led trail riding places every time I want to ride.

That's about all that's out there nowadays. Unless you have a friend with horses.
