I'm looking for a camp ground that has bathrooms.
Thank you!

All of the State Parks are nice, and most of them have nice/clean restrooms.

Happy camping!

there is a place down I35 between 410 and 1604 on the medina river called alamo river rv resort.

the owner has a large area for tent camping down by the river in heavy timber.

he has porta cans down there and up the hill is a double wide trailer with bathrooms, shower, kitchen, fridge to store stuff, big screen tv, a pool table. there is wifi in the park but i dont think it extends to far into the bottom where the tent camping spots are.

the fishing in the river is not bad from what i understand, though ive never put a hook in the water there.

if you camp there be aware that there is a train track not far off and a railyard across the river through the woods so you WILL hear a train whistle from time to time.

lots of deer and other critters and some nice walking trails just like his website says.

i live here, been here a year and a half or so in an rv. its a nice place to camp or just come picnicking with the family.

charlie brown(yes thats his real name) who owns the place is a great guy and does everything he can to accomidate campers.

the lake at the powerplant down I37, uh, calavaras? braunig? anyway, theres a campground on that lake and the fishing it good. not far outside 410 loop. sorry, been a while since i was over that way.

i think there is a campground or two over on medina lake but ive not been up that way either.

i know everyone is yelling state parks, i wanted to mention places closer in to town that a family can go for a quick get away.
