I'm going to Fredricksberg with a lady I've been seeing this Saturday. Any areas that you could recommend... restaurants, parks etc?

TIA

Oooooh, congrats! At least someone here has a lady. I'll be forever alone

Seriously, though, look around online, there's bound to be some website about it. Apple-picking? There's an apple-picking place up by there. Make yourself some apple pie with your lady friend!

LBJ State Park & Historic site is right down the road in Stonewall. For breakfast, check out the Rathskeller restaurant. Very good breakfast in an interesting setting

It may not be romantic or even date material...but if you're anything of a history buff or WWII buff...you MUST go to the Nimitz Museum. It's not just any museum either, it's THE National museum for the war in the Pacific during WWII. It's amazing.

You must eat at Hondo's. Hopefully they will have live music while you are there.

Luckenbach for a few beers and some music in the afternoon. Beckers Vinyards has a really nice wine tasting. After the tasting you can sit on their huge back porch and enjoy a bottle of wine if you care to purchase a bottle and look out onto the vast feild of Lavender. It's really nice place to sit and relax. This weekend should be a beautiful weekend to be in Fredicksburg. Enjoy.
