There is one on Austin Highway and Eisenhauer Road.. Not sure of the reliablity.. but there is also one on Perrin Beitel Road just past Chachos..

I haven't been there myself, but they promise to beat any price in town. I think I've seen someone else recommend them before on this forum. I'm going to check them out soon since I've been let down by my regular mechanic. I can no longer recommend ABS Automotive on Perrin Beitel.

I never can figure out transmission repair shops,...they can never seem to tell you what is wrong with the tranny until they tear it down,..which they charge you for if you decline repairs. Then when the transmission is torn down,...that is when they give you the bad news ($$$),...customer stuck between a rock and a hard place,....
