Hi, can anyone recommend a good obgyn in the medical center area. I just recently found out I am pregnant with my third child, and that I have a 10cm cyst on my right ovary. I just saw my obgyn and I am not happy with the way he handled this situation. He says that it is normal for a pregnant woman to get a cyst due to pregnancy. I agree, but a 10cm one? I'm not too convinced. I am in alot of pain and bleeding a whole lot due to this. Can anybody help me before I lose my baby.Thank You....

By the way the ER discovered this I just followed up with my doctor...

We have 3 kids and my wife had a cyst as well with the 3rd child, which also sent her to the ER (thinking we had a miscarriage), the baby was born just fine 3 months ago and she opted to not have the cyst removed since it put the baby at risk, the size of it has since gone down. Her OB/GYN was Dr. Cesar Reyes at Institute for Women's Health off of Floyd Curl Dr 210-614-1000, he was a really good doctor (our last 2 children were attended by him).

Hope everything works out. They suggested removing the cyst right after the birth or a few weeks later, as doing it beforehand might complicate the pregnancy even more, but your case may be different.
