Someone said there is a 7-11 store around Brooks down by 37 and SE Military. Can anyone confirm this?

I looked on their web site and the only one they have listed is in San Marcos. Does anyone know if that is even true?

It's a nostalgia thing and I really want to go to one, plus they have some nice Simpsons the Movie things going on also..

I know for a fact that San MArcos has one. I stopped there a ton while in college. However, I can't confirm the SA one.

thank you dendox, looks like I might be going on a small road trip this weekend

Everywhere I've lived has had them and I never made a big deal out of them, but I haven't seen one in years and really want to go to one now.

I was actually in LA about a month ago and took some pics of the 7-11 Kwik E Mart in Burbank. It was pretty cool, but dont think there is one in town. The nearest kwik e mart is located in Dallas.

7-Eleven's in San Antonio were bought out in the late 80's/early 90's by Stop n' Go, which was subsequently bought out by Diamond Shamrock. Diamond Shamrock was bought by Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, then UDS was bought by Valero. So the closest 7-Eleven is actually the one in San Marcos. More useless trivia!...................

The reason for the buyout??? 7-11 did not have a local warehouse and everything was brought in from Austin. I heard it got really expensive at the end.

Trivia is never useless sapphire!

I personally love it. For example, last night I learned the first Ronald McDonald was actually Willard Scott. Yes, the weather guy... it was on this McDonalds special CNBC was running

No there's isn't. We have a Valero (two of them actually one on both sides of 37) , a Shell and an HEB gas around the SE military and 37.
