Anyone remember Joe Fowler as a sports anchor who's catchphrase was BOO...back before he got fat and started on the infomercial curcuit? I actually like him better selling the flavor wave! I always though he was annoiying as hell.

When I was in high school, my school's football team did very well some of the years that he was doing the sports locally, so I used to watch him a lot. One of my high school friends had a huge crush on him. I could never see what she saw in him!

I thought that's why he left the news and then his part got cut. Not sure.

I used to think he was funny. But I was a kid at the time and I don't really remember much about him.

If you channel surf on cable in the early morning hours you can catch him doing infomercials. And, yes, he's still annoying.
