My boyfriend wants to live near his new company, Intertek... He's thinking Leon Valley. Opinion? Is it Secretly a retirement community like I think?

I really want to live in the Shadow Valley Apartments nearby. Or any of the Venterra living properties

Certainly not a retirement community - pretty broad demographic tending towards lower middle-class. Shadow Valley would be pretty close to where his work is.

Once you get that far away it is a straight shot down Bandera, but isnt the traffic atrocious during rush hour?

Traffic is not good but I still drove everyday to my massage therapy school on Walzem. I guess it depends on how much patience one has to put up with it.

Your Shadow Valley idea is just fine. Son & DIL lived there for several years, no big issues.

There are several apartments near Leon Valley, rentals are very reasonable too along Grissom and Culebra. Traffic is bad in certain hours.
