San Antonio, the NFL Jacksonville Jags are possibly up for sale. If all our ducks lined up perfect and SA was able to land the team, would you vote on the team coming to the Alamo City??

I would vote for it, BUT football is a huge private enterprise. It needs to be done without taxpayer money. The Alamo Dome is already there. Let those with the money buy the team and strike up a profitable deal for the city and the alamo dome.

Yes I would vote for a team to relocate to SA. However, it will not happen with the Jags. The team was just purchased by an Illinois businessman, originally from Pakistan that is intending to relocate to Jacksonville. If the team is going anywhere, it will be Los Angeles, Karachi, Jacksonville, Peoria and then San Antonio.

Never happen. We've got two teams in Texas that have a HUGE following. Namely the Cowboys. Jones will never allow market share to be taken, and frankly, we can't get one unless we were to build a new state-of-the-art stadium. I love this town and everything about it, but we probably wouldn't support an NFL team.

No, I'm originally from Jax and I still wouldn't want the Jaguars to come to SA!

But it's a pipe dream anyway 'cause it's never gonna happen!

Yeah, all truth. Of course this would be in "perfect" world. Lets move SA to NM and well will be the big dogs. hahaha jk

I'd be for it, but I think people are kidding themselves if they think an owner would build their own stadium or even pay out of their own pocket to upgrade the dome. If we want an NFL team here we need to be prepared to cough up $350-$500mil. I dont see anyone accepting anything other than a brand new facility and not a refurbed Alamodome.

San Antonio will never get a team as long as the Cowboys and Texans are in this state. NEVER. People need to let this issue die

Funny. When the 'Boys were the only team in Texas for that brief time, there were those saying they may be the only team we have in Texas from now on.

NEVER say never....

Different situation though. The NFL is usually pretty quick to put a team back in a city that already had one, especially when it is already a proven viable market.
