Hi, can anybody please recommend a good Salon/Hairdresser for men in the Stone Oak area? I looked up on the internet and found several places. However, some appear quite expensive, and I am not looking for a 'designer' haircut. All I want is a good haircut at a reasonable price. Since word-of-mouth opinions are generally the best, I thought I'd turn to you folks Thanks!

Sport Clips in the strip center next to Costco gave me a good haircut once. I've since found a place I like better that is a few miles south of that area.

Many are happy with Rooster's...my husband finds it expensive (I think it's $25+) for a haircut/shave.

My husband, daughter, and son all usually go to Great Clips, though.

Yep, I go to great clips as well, Its hard to mess up the hair cut I get, so I go to the cheapest place.

I had the same problem finding a good one out here. Found Laura at K. Charles. She's very good, charges $37 and they do not allow you to tip. I just love that no tipping allowed rule!! They have less expensive stylists, too.

You could try Felix at the haircutters right next to HEB on 281 N and Evans. He did a great job on my husband's hair. I think it was $12.

Sport Clips or Great Clips. I'm not familiar with shops in that area but there should be some close by.
