So my new house is complete but there are 4 pallets of brick left over. Anyone have a clue as to where I could sell this stuff. Can't believe the builders estimate on how much would be needed was so far off

Agreed, you were charged for it (probably even overcharged), I would not "suck up" the builder's mistake. I would have them come get it and refund the exact amount you were charged for it!

Let me give ya a real big hint- the builder isn't buying it back. It's in the budget for the house and as far as he is concerned, it's a freeby to you. You need to be looking at this though thru much better glasses. If you ever need to match the brick on your house, you have it. I'd strongly suggest storing it on the yard somewhere even if it's to make a walkway with. That brick will be worth its weight in gold if you have a lintel break, add-on later, need to pull a window, etc. Color matching brick most often will never happen. Count yer blessings that you were lucky enough that the takeoff was bad in your favor.

I would keep quite a few for possible repairs or add-ons it the future. If nothing else make a walkway with them. Oops sorry for the redundency.^^

We had brick left over when we built our house as well... We used some of it to brick over our outside front entry way... We just paid one of the masonry guys on the side to come and do the job, it was super cheap and it looks great... Then a few months ago we had a landscape company come out and make 3 planters... 2 are just white block but the large one in front of the house is a double thick stone planter that extends from one side of the house to the other... He capped the planter using the brick we had, he had to buy some also, as we didn't have enough, but he was able to take from our left over brick to match it... The planter looks AMAZING and because the brick matches the house it in no way looks like an add on...
