I am looking to get a mobile internet plan where I would get a hot spot so I can use internet when I am away from the home.

I am looking to see which service has the best coverage in San Antonio.

I know clear has a $50 unlimited plan. How is this in San Antonio? The down side is that it is 3g only so it would suck on road trips. Has anyone heard of how to get a discount on service?

How about Time Warner Cable Hot spot? Is this 4g only or does it also include 3g? How much is it monthly? Is it unlimited? If I already have time warner cable and internet services how much extra?

Any other services you recommend?

I will need unlimited data

I've heard from several people that Clear's service is not very good. I have no first hand experience with it however. Hopefully some other forum members can share their experiences with the company.

Clears 4g not 3g. I have it and love it. both my husband and i have the 4g hot spot and have never had any real issues. Been customers since '09 or '10.

I've been with clear since 09 good service..no OK service. Many blackouts customer service sucks.you can never speak to an American person. and they have a way of overcharging you so always check your account I would not recommend clear they are a sister company of Sprint.Sprint is the master of over charging
