I'm wanting to connect with people and resources who have lived and/or visited Hawaii in San Antonio.

Just was in O'ahu last month, as well as the month before that. Stayed at the Ko Olina the first time, and in Waikīkī the last. Enjoyed both visits except for the "Pearl Jam!" Took us over an hour to go 12 miles on the H1 during "rush" hour. Actually made better time on Nimitz Highway thru Honolulu.

Also did the most of the usual touristy stuff...Pearl Harbor, Ford Island, Diamondhead, crossed the island on the H2 and drove the North Shore, Bellows, Makapuu Point plus the less touristy leeward side of the island up to Ka'ena Point. Preferred the windward side though, the surf was better and it was more scenic.

I just wish I had made it to "Robins Nest" in Waimanalo!
