I thought we could use a thread to discuss what everyone tries and how it is. I know I plan on gaining 15 lbs next week!

A nice list of participating eateries... And thankfully, most are not chains or mass-market spots. I'd say that 90% or more of them are locally owned and operated. That deserves a big WOOHOO!

Nice list! Has anyone eaten at Auden's Kitchen? I am a long-time fan of Bruce Auden and can't wait to try it out.

Although sometimes it can be a hit or miss, overall I enjoy Auden's. Just went a week or two ago and they had an eggplant parm special. Was leery about trying it but glad I did. Very good dish. You can't go wrong with Auden's fried chicken. The breading is awesome.

My inlaws love the place too, which is a bonus when they visit...since they are rather picky.

Ate there a couple times after they opened-very good first impression!! Went on Monday last week about 815 and they told me they closed at 830...ended up at Drews that was virtually empty but was serving at least- do all northside eateries keep "senior hours"?
Want to try Perry's this year as well as revisiting some old faves.

Perry's and Auden's Kitchen so far for us-both very good, great first impression for Perry's. Glad to find a northside eatery where you can walk in at 10PM and get service.

Not exactly gourmet but we did the Yardhouse today because we were at La Cantera. They let us do the Lunch special during dinner and it was just the right amount of food.

Enjoyed Bin 555 last night. The Restaurant Week menu they offered was different than posted online. Not bad, just different options.
They also had what they called a Market Menu (that they have all the time) that was a 4 course prix-fixe for $30. It was fantastic (and a better deal!)
