Sorry, I am at work and can't see the local walmart ad, etc (no flash) and I have to go buy a turkey right after work.
Would somebody be so kind as to tell me what the price per pound is at HEB and Walmart? Thanks so much!

HEB still has their sale going on where if you purchase the spiral sliced ham, you get up to a 12 lb. turkey free. Not a bad deal, we get the ham and freeze it until Christmas, and use the bird this week.

On its own the Riverside frozen turkeys at HEB are .88/lb, and fresh are $1.47. Target has frozen turkey breast at .99/lb. We bought a fresh Butterball at Costco yesterday for $1.09/lb

May not be the best price in town, but standing in line for 25 minutes today for both turkey and ham from Honey Baked Ham was time WELL spent!!!! OMG! The best ever!!! It certainly is not the cheapest...but is WITHOUT DOUBT the BEST!!!

I agree, these are great, though I'm most partial to their hams! I've had these sent to friends/relatives over many holidays and other non-celebratory-type occasions when I couldn't be there (they ship overnight w/o a problem) and are always very much appreciated and enjoyed! .

Neighbors driving to NM to spend the holiday with their kiddos and new grandson....their eyes LIT UP when I called and said I was making/packing them the turkey and ham sandwhiches to take along for their trip!!! THAT is when you KNOW you have found something worth the cost!!!
