Has anyone here had dealings with Gonzales House Moving? He sold me a home that I just learned, he never even owned. I also recently found that I am not the only victim.

Huh? He sold you a home? How did you purchase it? The title search didn't show that? Who was the title company?

Default home

This was a relocated home that was on his boss' property (that Manuel represented as his) . Manuel told me that he owned the home he sold me and his coworker owned the other homes on the lot.
After making the down payment plus 4 mortgage payments ($6000 total) I questioned what was taking so long to deliver my home and I told him I was no longer going to make payments until I had my home. He quit taking my phone calls so I went to his coworker. That is when I learned that they were not coworkers. Manuel was hired by the true owner, to deliver sold home, not to sell them.
All is well, Sheriff's dept is after him now. What goes around, comes around. Thank you God, sweet justice.

I have used him to move a house, he is an honest hard working man. I got a deal on the house and the move, 1/2 off what other movers quoted me.

I wish I had the same experience. 2 years later and I am still waiting for him to refund my deposit. He and his girlfriend were arrested and indicted Dec 2009, they posted bail the same night, yet they will not return my money.

Manuel and his girlfriend were indicted and arrested on Christmas Eve 2009!!!
D.A. got involved and instated a deadline to pay me back.... I got my money back ~!~!~!~!
It took over two years PLUS the District Attorney's Office Victim's Advocate to get involved but I finally got my money back !
