I think there has only been a total of two people between both shows and they've had how many seasons since the show kicked off in the early 2000's?? Houston, Dallas, and even Austin seem to have at least one or a couple representatives all the time. You can't tell me that no one here applies. So why are we overlooked?? Do the producers think we're not successful enough or good looking?? Something that's always left me curious.

To answer the O.P.'s question: because it would be boring.

Bachelor would meet beautiful, friendly, well adjusted bachelorette from San Antonio, get married, have kids, and live happily ever after.*

There's no drama in that situation, so it's bad for ratings.

*That's what happened to me.

Well...... we actually did have a San Antonio native and current resident on The Bachelorette a few years ago; the one with Ali. Hunter Wagner is his name. Very cool guy who ABC sought after seeing a video of him playing the ukulele on youtube.

No offense, but there is not a large Native pool of super attractive san antonio women or men that are willing to ***** themselves out on TV. I love it here and everything, but I would not call san antonio the most attractive city, men or women. I certainly don't find myself attractive, yet somehow landed my wife who is way out of my league when I lived in so cal.
