This would be the ideal choice if it's available. He'd get a real flavor of what the campus is like if he stayed there overnight. Hotels between the campus and the airport are perfectly fine, but aren't going to provide much of a sample of anything relevant to a college student.

Its a graduate program interview - he is flying in the night before, attending in the morning and then flying back to his current University later in the afternoon. He is in SAT less than 24 hours. We are going to put him up near the airport. Thank you for all the suggestions
