Is anyone stuck in that Bulverde/Evans RD mess during rush hours. Just can't wait to see how bad it gets after more retail, PGA Village and the new high (palace) school opens.

I guess I am glad I decided to not buy in that area. That was one thing I noticed - the roads (flooding Evans) and traffic congestion is horrible.

Like you said it's only going to get worse. There are still several more subdivisions being built North of Evans on Bulverde that will create more of a mess. I guess that is why some builders are offering some pretty good incentives to live in this area.

Nope - only occasionally. But we avoid it like the plague. Hubby takes Evans East to Green Mountain and I try to avoid rush hour driving. I also avoid 1604/281 and I-10/1604 whenever possible as well.

Some day there will be 4 lanes on Bulverde and Evans in all directions, someday....

Default Doesn't take a brain surgeon.....

Yet more reason why all SA/area residents ought to support light rail. No doubt people in other areas can site similiar siutations. Much better solution then toll roads.

I drove north on Bulverde toward Evans Rd last night about 7:30 and the traffic was still backup to almost 1604. Green Mountain Rd will be a mess soon as other developments are built on Evans.

Good luck with mass transit here! I get tired walking across the Wal-Mart parking lot. This town was built on the automobile. We need BIGGER roads. All the roads here should be like Babcock 3 lanes in each direction with a center turning lane. Until we make this a ped. friendly city is will be very hard to sell MASS TRANSIT to the public.
