Hi all.

We recently moved to the 1604 and Shaenfield area.

The GF works at 281/Nakoma. Getting to work is easy, getting home is very slow (she leaves work at 4pm)

Anybody have any suggestions or tips for cutting that commute down as much as possible?

Thanks!

Tough one, maybe south on West Ave to Lockhill-Selma north to DeZavala the up and across Hausman?

Otherwise, there is no direct route using non-major roads I can think of. Maybe a GPS and trying a few different roads in be tween; but I think she's out of luck on this one!

410 past I -10 going east is not bad I go west on 410 everyday and pass the people in the east bound lanes. If you can get to Bandera then get on 410 you should have no issue. Then exit San Pedro and find Nakoma.

She's looking for the way home. LOL

And "move" is not the answer they are looking for, rude ones.

Thanks.. I just moved.. on very short notice because previous rental home was foreclosed on... that's not really an option right now.

Moving is probably the easy answer. How about taking 281 south to 410 east to 151 to Shaenfield? I feel as though the biggest back up would be the interchanges and even those only have their moments when they are dreadful. Or is that how she is getting home now? Going all north heading toward Locke Hill Selma is full of lights and De Zavala gets all sorts of backed up and Hausman at rush hour may even be worse than Nakoma because it's one lane (but isn't here construction no Nakoma anyway?)
