Just be sure when you interview them, you find out what income is required of renters. Many property managers only require GROSS income to be 3x the rent. I've seen what this causes. In my opinion, rent should be no more than 1/4 of your NET income. Otherwise, you will end up with a damaged house and people that might walk out. I've seen it over and over- and mostly to military owners who were taking such nice care of the homes before they had to leave rentals behind.
