Hey, Ya'll. I have a house being built in Redbird Ranch (DR Horton). I am looking for anyone who may already have a home there or near there. I am trying to decide what internet company I should go with. AT&T DSL or Time Warner Broadband? Any other information would be cool also

Honestly is pick your poison with either of them. I had AT&T (SBC) for the longest then switched to TWC. They both provide good service at times (its like a cycle) but then they wonder off and make you go to the competitor. I akin them to Dish/DirecTV competition.

Cool Redbird Ranch (DR Horton)

Thanks for the reply. I am not new to San Antonio but have not lived in the 78253 area. I have Time Warner Roadrunner but am looking for a switch. I will try AT&T if they do not have you sign a contract. The big thing is lag time on Xbox 360. The house should be ready by Oct. and Halo 3 comes out on 9/25/07!!!

Last I checked DSL is generally slower than cable.

If online games is the reason for the switch , you will be disapointed with dsl. You are going to be lagging like crazy if not booted from the server. I you are seriously thinking about switching to At&T go and run Phone/Cat5 cable to all your rooms before sheetrock goes up because At&t will have to do that later in order for you to get video service and might cause more damage than good. Ithink someone said their video service was going wireless in feb 08.
I'd go with TW for now

I wish Halo was on Playstation

I agree..my father lives in the area there and switched from cable to DSL, then cussed the whole time he had it (figuratively speaking) and promptly switched back to cable within a month or so.

Does anyone have the link of that part of Bexar county that shows where the future streets and/or subdivisions will be? I was looking over the Potranco & 1604 thread but its huge now and got lost. Also, some links don't work there anymore. I wanted to see also the one that shows how the Redbird/Stevens Ranches will be outlined when they're done.
