We are looking to buy at Terra Bella but Lopez middle does not provide bus service to the neighborhood. Wilderness oak and hardy oak intersection look like a busy intersection to have my kids run across. Does anyone know if there are police helping with traffics when Lopez let out?

And I think that will be when new lights will be put in.

As for police at the intersection during am/pm arrival/dismissal, call Lopez and ask. They may have either SAPD or NEISD police there.

I saw the traffic-counting cables several months ago, so it's only a matter of time before traffic lights are installed (and my commute gets a minute longer.)

I live on the other side of Lopez Middle so don't normally head to that intersection, but today after picking up my 6th grader I went to the CVS at that corner and they had a teacher/staff crossing guard. I imagine they are there everyday and will probably continue once they install the traffic light. The intersection at Hardy Oak Blvd and Eagle Vail, right in front of the school, has a crossing guard even though they have a traffic light.

We are building a house in Terra Bella right now. There is a crossing guard at the intersection, and I would assume this would remain once the HEB goes in. It is a pretty long walk to Terra Bella from Lopez though. I know some kids that do it on occasion, but not many who do it regularly.
