That's just dumb. Fear is always based on what you feel regardless of the reality.

Ok but that doesnt make you any less wrong. I live in the area too and have never seen gang activity. That doesnt necessarily mean it doesnt exist but it certainly doesnt exist to the point where one can safely say it is "on the rise"

Ahh...but is it really? Fear may be...but actual safety isn't. I live in the area as well, and have witnessed it's slow decline. Just two weeks ago we had a shooting on the street (didn't make the paper/news),last week a theft from my neighbor's home...and a few days ago a hit and run in the early morning hours.

I find it all very humorous. I'm getting popcorn now
Oh, really? Let's see all the posts I've made "putting down other areas". *munch munch munch* I'd just love to see what you're saying I've said "many times before". I'll be waiting over here, eating your popcorn.

*eyeroll*

I didn't throw a temper tantrum, nor did I attack. I asked a simple question, and it was deleted.

It's interesting, though, your obsession with trying to antagonize me.

What was the original question again? Oh year, Santikos Silverado 16 and gang activity. No worries, there is no reported gang activity at that theater. Maybe some minor burglary of vehicles out in the parking lot on occasion, but not in the theater. If anything, the place is very crowded and such criminal activity would be quickly addressed by law enforcement if it was a continuing issue...

Gangs hanging out at a movie theater isn't a reportable crime.

I have no issue whatsoever with dropping my kids off there to see a movie.

A few years ago the SAPD Gang Unit put out a really good Gang Awareness Handbook , definitely worth reading for anyone concerned about gang activity!

Cheers! M2
