I finally got around to visiting the Village at Stone Oak and I must say that I was utterly impressed. Firstly, by the design. I mean the Tuscan design of the building in the lower section (away from the anchors) was astounding. The Starbucks they're building right now did not resemble anything remotely similar to Starbucks, the only thing that told me it was a Starbucks was the logo on the front of the building. That is the first time I've ever seen a Starbucks not look like a Starbucks in a suburban development. Anyway. It was kinda cool. Secondly, the quality of tenants they have there was really nice. It's something Stone Oak needed away from the more"mom and pop" stuff in central Stone Oak. Thirdly, that just up the road (Stone Oak) at Bulverde Rd. another semi-large shopping center is going up called Stone Oak Commons. Geesh!

I did notice the street configuration to be a bit confusing.
