Yeah, it's for Canyon Lake not Medina Lake.

We went to medina lake once a couple of years ago and weren't that impressed. Very little public access and the swimming area we did find open to the public sucked. Very steep drop off and very close to where folks were launching pwc. Stench of gas was nauseating.

Good thing you have other choices and no one is forcing you to go there.

I used to launch at the TPWD launch, next to those swimmers......HATED it - more than once, I LITERALLY had someone swim in behind my boat as I fired the engines - had I not double-checked aft, they'd have been chewing on a prop!

I did love Medina, though - lots of coves that I found over the years with some great fishing.

Thank YOU for adding relevant information to this thread.

Paradise Canyon (just below the dam) should be great this year for swimming.

I could say the same to you. You felt it necessary to come in and talk about everything you disliked about the lake after going a whopping one time. You don't like it, don't go. More room for those of us who like it.
