Hello!

Me and my family have been wanting to move to San Antonio for a while now but I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer them.

Jobs, I am in the medical field and father, mother are hands on workers. Is there job opportunities for us?
Safety, I am sure every place has its bad but overall it is a safe place to live? recommendations? Housing?
People, I am very open minded but my parents are old fashion. How are people in San Antonio?
Singles, This is the least of my worries but still wanted to ask. Good place for singles?

Jobs: There are a lot of medical jobs in town -- we have a lot of hospitals and medical things on bases and such. I HR in the medical field and we are definitely always hiring. I don't know what "hands on workers" mean, I guess they work in a factory or something. For what it is worth, SA unemployment rate is 4.4%.

People: San Antonio is a liberal city as far as politics go (as is every large city) and there are gay people and bars downtown, mixed race relationships everywhere, and the culture is predominately Hispanic.
Singles: You'll see a lot of single mothers, many of whom were teenage pregnancies with no ring on it. If that is what you're into yes there are a lot of single ladies. Teen Pregnancies Falling in San Antonio, But City Still Lags Nation | The Rivard Report

Thank you for the reply.

I am not a guy, but that is interesting to know that there are a lot of teen pregnancies.

D you know which zipcode is the best to look at for housing? Safe and not too expensive.
