Does anyone have experience with this builder? From what I have been told by the salesperson at The Park at Cimarron, they are a subsidiary of Armadillo Homes being the higher end builder. All homes are in the 330k-400k range. Any feedback on build quality, customer service, etc. would be awesome. Thank you for your assistance.

They are one and the same company. They're new company and I have no idea about the build quality but so you know. Back in 2006 when things were going at the speed of light, the mortgage crunch hit. That was 8 tears ago. The folks that were doing to actual building- the carpenters, plumbers, electricians and others are gone. Most went into the Eagle Ford oil fields to find work. They are now being paid far more than they were in the housing industry. They won't be coming back. You need to be aware that builders are having issues with a lack of knowledgeable subs and subs that are now severely short handed to do the work. I've always thought it amazing that most of the folks doing the actual work and providing the real field expertise are the ones that can't afford even the basic houses they work on. Maybe this time the builders will stop with the outrageous profits and see that the guys doing the work need to make more.

We had an Armadillo Home in San Antonio and it was junk, so I wouldn't recommend anyone who was subsidiary of them.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The salesperson did elude to the oilfield taking a good amount of the skilled workers in which they brought in a PM from California. Another thing that caught my attention is that the builder is family owned. I'm not sure what difference this makes but i would think they would like to protect their name. Anyone out there actually own in Boerne?
