All I have to say is....
It's not that I think I'm too good to venture over there, I just don't know anyone there and have all I need in my area. I've found a lot of people keep to their neighborhoods here. When I've met people on the meetup board many lived on the NE side and didn't want to drive all the way to the NW side. So I would be the one driving to Mccallister(sp) Park and the Chachos on PB. With gas the way it is now I don't go out of my way as much.

No, I totally agree...I just didn't like how PP said they didn't want to venture to "this side of the tracks". Like it's the slums or something. Not very polite if you ask me. Plus, I get that attitude from a lot of people that I meet. I totally agree that we should stay in our areas with gas prices the way that they are. Just trying to defend the area where I live!

I apologize if anybody got their feelings hurt from a "side of the tracks" joke

I'll go ahead and get that removed that though.

All I have to say, is lighten up, go to the joke thread for a minute....

No, you don't have to remove it...just remember, it's hard to "joke" and be "sarcastic" online. I can't read how you are saying something. I've just had a lot of negative reactions when I tell people that we live in the Potranco/1604 area. No hurt feelings at all...friends???

I'm with it. Its easier to say it sarcastically (in person) to my buddy that lives there.

Like, oh, you live there, I don't venture there at night... Now thats funny...

Just a joke though, you should see the places we moved from... Yes, I could hear the trains, those stupid trains everyday at 4 in the morning...

It was just a joke, I don't want anybody to think that I'm dogging their area, esp one I considered building in (Trophy Ridge).
