Our neighborhood has used Tiger Sanitation for as long as I have lived here (6 years) and we have had modest rate increases in the past. Most recently I have been paying $74.93 per quarter for refuse and recycling. Yesterday I got a bill and the fee jumper to $86.06...a 15% increase! No warning, no explanation. I understand rate increase from time to time, but 15%? It certainly isn't the cost of fuel, which has declined. I am sure they aren't giving their staff a 15% pay raise. So this appears to be the ownership wanting to give themselves a better lifestyle. For those that use Tiger...have you seen this increase too? What are you paying? Trying to gather facts and some knowledge before I raise a ruckus.

Just checked my account. We were paying $57.71/qtr from 2012 (when we moved here) until the 12/01/2014 quarterly bill when it went up to $66.36/qtr. Last invoice was 05/01/2015. Our service is outside 1604 on the far west side (if that matters).

Hope it helps.

I'm in Rolling Oaks Estates, how far out are you? Just curious why you would be paying almost $20/qtr more.

I am in Rolling Oaks also. My last in March was 61.47 for this quarter. We use MD systems. been very satisfied with them. Have had them about 18 months now and no problems.

AFMike, my last bill was 05/01 of this year.

Thanks for the info 24annie, I'll keep MD in mind if my rates go up again, I know a couple of my neighbors use them.
