I'm still a Runner fan!
No offense intended. You'll did remarkably well the first couple of years. Best of luck in conference play.

Thanks, Bryan

I was making a Back to the Future joke, I too didn't mean offense.

However, if someone would have come up to me 5 years ago and said "Sa Dave, you will have a football team, a minimum of 25000 people will see them every Saturday, they will compete with G5 teams, be in a decent mid-major conference, hang with some power5 teams [Arizona, K State]...would you like that?"

I would and I'd wear my navy and orange every Saturday

I didn't buy utsa football merchandise for nothing, I didn't buy ncaa football for my xbox360 for nothing(I always play as the runners). this is a dream come true for me, a 2nd people think negative about them?
Damn straight son!! I also rushed to get ncaa college fb when we got a team too. Birds Up through thick and thin!!!

Leave their 1 and 4 team behind for a winless team?

I'd think it's more likely local fans would defect to fandom of the 4-0 Trinity Tigers. Climbing on the bandwagon of an undefeated team probably looks more appealing than the overmatched local program.

HA HA HA, Trinity is a D-III team, a baby level team, a minor league style team. it doesnt make our city feel big.
