We don't have a speaker, but they may have one available.

flashfearless, they may not offer video because there are many $100 off the shelf options out there.

I prefer wired connections to wireless. If you want a wired installation, Smith-Thompson won't provide it. Thanks to the price difference for monitoring, it wasn't a deal-breaker, but it was a disappointment when I went with them.

The guy showed up 15 minutes late and decided to give them a try. So far so good. The only thing I don't like is the mobile app. It's very simple, just arm way and disarm and kind of slow. I had vivint before and I was able to arm stay as well, and be able to see which sensors were active.

The only thing I miss so far.

I'm in the process of switching to ST, and the website clearly states that they will do both wired and non-wired. https://www.smiththompson.com/how-it...ng-systems.php

Maybe it's something based on availability?

May I ask why you left Vivint? I am looking into a wireless alarm system that will start recording if tripped.

Hi, I just wanted to give someone else a try. I only switched because of the price. I am paying half of what I was paying with vivint with this other company.
