Their website has pictures of many of the displays. It doesn't seem worth it to me.
Glad I'm not the only one. I live out by it and people on NextDoor gushed over it. I just thought I got spoiled by the one back in PA at Lakemont Amusement Park in Altoona. $10/car or $40/car/season, and it is enormous. The profits go to local charities which speaks more to the Christmas spirit. Heck even the community run one where our 2nd house is in NM is donations only (asking $3/car), not 25 acres, but a good 15.

Lakemont has always been a favorite back home because they started it just as a way to keep their full-time non-seasonal employees employed over the Winter shutdown rather than lay them off (especially in the rustbelt where seasonal layoffs was the norm). The company wasn't looking to make profit, just break even, so they started donating the profits. Now so many local businesses sponsor displays that virtually all of the fee goes to charity.

Paka, thanks for the information, I live close to that area in Shavano and we'll check the lights out.
There might be other area at Bitters close to 1604, in the subdivisions to the right going north.

So glad I got to see the Johnson's show before he turned it off. He put so much time and effort into it, it's so sad.

It is Shavano something, but not sure of the subdivisions name. It is AWESOME!!! Lots of huge houses, totally decked out with all kinds of lights. One year, one of the residents even had a school choir singing in their front yard and served cider and hot cocoa. It is crowded, and you drive slowly for sure, and the streets are a little funky in that they all seems to loop into each other, but it is beautiful and worth a "free drive". MapQuest "Warbler Way" and that is where you turn in to see huge homes on acreage lots all covered in LOTS, and LOTS of free lights!!!!
This is great! Gonna try to see this neighborhood's Xmas displays soon. Thank you!
