No comments about the pay rate of Santikos employees but I think that it is really cool that the family donated 605 million for charity. Hope it is spent wisely.

REALLY!!?!?!? This family is going to donate that kind of money to the city and there are those that felt/feel that he did not do things "correctly"!?!?!?! Go out and earn your own fortune and leave it to/how you feel it is best put to use, but do NOT degrade ANYONE willing to leave the bulk of their fortune to those that benefit from it.

You don't like the pay for a ticket taker? WORK FOR IT and once you have, YOU get to choose and we will be grateful and not complain to about those YOU feel worthy of your efforts! Geezs!!!!!!

I worked for John Santikos for twelve years. He was the most fair of all the theatre companies in San Antonio, and WAY better than the big theatre chains. He always expected the best out of his employees, and gave us the equipment to do their best. Few of us got rich working for him, but did better and felt more appreciated than most of the other people working for other theatre companies.
