Happy Thanksgiving!

I am an army contractor and my current site is almost finished, and it looks like we'll be heading to Ft Sam Houston next.

I am wondering if anybody here knows of NICE furnished aparments (or houses) near Ft. Sam. Since we can charge per diem lodging, we can spend up to $3000 a month, but that needs to include all bills- electric, cable, internet etc.

Let me know if anybody knows of any places I should look.

THANKS!

I'd recommend Sunset Ridge Apartments off of New Braunfels Ave. in the Alamo Heights area. It's a short drive to Fort Sam's north entrance.

They have a website:

Hello,

Someone mentioned Sunset Ridge apartments but I'm pretty certain they do not come furnished. They are charming though with the hardwood floors and I believe were built in the 20's. Of hand I can not think of many that come furnished...you best bet would probably be to look on one of those apartment websites. But Alamo Heights is a very nice area to live in and close to Fort Sam! It's an older part of the city and is very charming...it has a lot of good restaurants and big trees! If you do end up staying in the Alamo Heights area you must visit the Central Market!!
