My advice would be to do your searching at dealers located in the red, pink and black zones of this map. I would guess most local dealers are north of the worst hail.

Nice map, confirms that I live in the truly clobbered zone. We were driving in it. Quite exciting.

While I know NOTHING about this guy or know anyone that has bought from him, it appears he has a good selection of cars for "starter" type prices. Hoping this helps. I've included his FB page link. on FB go to "cars for sale san Antonio" and you can hit join and you will see what he has for sale and it will keep you up with his new ones as they become available.

Hi Paka! Thanks for the info - I think you meant to post a link but it didn't come through.

This HAIL of a SALE surely got my attention but after visiting many dealers I found out it's not such a good deal after all. The dealers have deducted the price of fixing the hail damage. So what's the deal! I'm driving a damaged vehicle that would cost me thousands to fix later. Many cars had the same price tag before and after the hail damage. The owner of Ancira dealerships had to nerve to come on the radio advertising the great deals they had to offer but guess what SHE SAID that during the hot summer days the the hail damage will pop up A good way to scam the public The car dealers are loving the hype.

Why is anyone surprised? They'll take the insurance settlement, deduct the repair cost and sell you the car. Years ago, they sucked me in one that - I could buy a car for almost the same money without any damages just by haggling the price.

A friend's car has $6000 of dent repairs. Tell them to deduct 6 grand and then more for your troubles.
