I've talked to both Stephens Roofing and Perry Roofing. Both seemed to be nice, however I would feel more confident in my choice if someone has used either one of these companies and can post their comments, pro or con, to help me make my decision of which one to go with.
Or you can DM if you like.
Your help will be greatly appreciated,.. thanks

Both are from Austin and when the influx of business from the recent hail storms is gone, most likely they will be too. Warranty in a few years may be an issue if they're no longer in SA. Roofing companies come and go like the tides. Stephens has been around since 2005 so not much history there. I would STRONGLY suggest finding a San Antonio Roofing company that's been here at least as long as the warranty on the roof. I use Rolands Roofing as he's been around since I was a kid....and I'm old enough for Social Security now. He's the only roofer allowed on my jobs. They stand behind any work they do. The company is now a third generation roofing company which says they'll be here when you need them.

Trapper..... that was a "typo" in my original post. It should be "STEPHENS Roofing" NOT Stevens! Moderator cut: Fixed spelling error.

I was under the impression they are from San Antonio! Am I correct or not?
The man from Perry Roofing assured me that Austin is not that far from San Antonio and it seems a lot of folks are using them around my area and have had good remarks about them. Maybe I should get Roland's to give me an estimate and see what they say.
Thanks for the input

Trust me - when a business is headquartered 60-80 miles away from your location, you are NOT going to get the same service response that you will if they're local.

They're here now because of all the insurance claims - but in a year, I dunno.

agree 100%. stick to local, plus its good to give you money to firms from SA. just wish the city would do the same

OK.... that narrows it down to Stephens Roofing I guess, because from what I understand they ARE San Antonio based. If anyone has used them or heard of someone that has used them I would appreciate opinions please. In the meantime I will try to get Roland's Roofing out to check my damage too.

As much as a Dave Ramsey fan that I am, I'm not gonna hire someone based on his recommendation for things such as roofs. He's a great financial coach - but gimme a local like TrapperL for this kinda stuff!

Stephens from what I know is San Antonio based and have been around for quite a while.

I think their main office is off 281 near Brookhollow or something...
